On 18th July 2026, our team will visit the Kumasi Female Prisons as part of our ongoing Prison Feeding Programme, an initiative aimed at supporting incarcerated women with nutritious meals and a reminder that they are not forgotten by the outside world.
About the Programme
Our Prison Feeding Programme is one of the cornerstone outreach efforts under Touchdeworld Foundaion’s mission to extend compassion and basic human dignity to vulnerable and often overlooked populations. Year after year, we return to correctional facilities across the region to provide meals, encouragement, and a sense of community to incarcerated women who continue to carry the weight of isolation from their families and society.
This year’s visit to Kumasi Female Prisons continues that tradition, bringing our team face-to-face with the inmates to serve, engage, and uplift.
What to Expect on the Day
On the day of the outreach, our volunteers and staff will arrive at the Kumasi Female Prisons with prepared meals for the inmates housed at the facility.
The day will include:
- Distribution of nutritious meals to all inmates present
- A time of interaction and encouragement between our team and the women
- Words of hope shared with the women, reminding them that they remain valued members of the community
