Why Street Health Outreach Matters
Thousands in our city face daily struggles without access to basic medical care. Untreated infections, chronic illnesses, and mental health crises go unaddressed—until outreach teams step in.
The Harsh Reality:
- 78% of homeless individuals have at least one untreated medical condition
- Life expectancy for those on the streets is 20-30 years shorter than the general population
- Fear and mistrust often prevent people from seeking traditional healthcare
